Words Hold A Lot Of Power

The Power Of Words!

Words hold a lot of power. Words can heal as much as they hurt. Words can inspire as much as they can demotivate. You may have walked around saying “sticks and stones,” but as you got older you found out how much power words actually have. While words can have the weight of stone, it can do very positive things for you!

Have you ever had a day where you were feeling down? A day where you couldn’t even get out of bed because you had absolutely no motivation? We’ve all had those days. Those days can really be draining, right?

What if I told you that you can turn an entire day around just by changing a couple of words around! Changing your day can be as easy as turning any negative thoughts into positive ones. Imagine how much power a negative statement can have on you.

Now imagine how much a negative statement can affect those around you. You’re a professional. You scratched and clawed your way to where you are now like a ferocious tiger.

Think of the words used by those who meant to keep you down. Those who stood in your way. That’s not going to be you. You may have inadvertently done it to someone else and cost a friendship or professional relationship, but no longer.

You’re going to go out there and use the power of positive words to find success in your goals, your relationships, your finances!

Don’t you just loathe those meetings where the speaker is so dry that you’re daydreaming of how much you took your life for granted outside of that meeting? You’re so zoned out of the meeting that the only thing you’re going to do is post on Facebook about how that meeting could have been an email?

Imagine what YOU could do with a room full of people. Imagine what you could do with just a handful of friends and family at a gathering. Imagine the positivity you could spread. Positivity is infectious after all. Imagine if you infect someone else with your positivity. They can then turn around and spread it themselves.

You can feel better knowing you’ve done something good. Now this is the type of infection you want to spread! Imagine rolling a snowball down a hill. When it gets to the bottom, it’s going to be a lot bigger than it was when it first started, but in order for it to roll down the hill, it needs a push in the first place!

One word, one sentence, can change your entire life. Not only that, it can change the lives of those around you too! It might be hard to change your way of thinking.

Think of every negative word or every negative thing you’ve been telling yourself recently. How can you flip that into something positive? Even something as small as what you cooked this morning. Did the meal flop? Did you burn it so bad you had to call the fire department? Did you tell yourself that you shouldn’t be proud of what you did, or should you tell yourself that you can improve and do better next time?

Did you play your part in sabotaging a friendship and tell yourself that you can’t bounce back? Is there a way you can put a spin on it and tell yourself that you can become a more positive person to improve your situation?

Loss, trauma, financial hardships, sickness, there are all things that can make it hard to stay positive. In fact, just suffering one of these hardships is enough to put anyone under three different weighted blankets,

but not you. No, you’re going to use positive words, positive phrases, and spread positivity like butter across a warm piece of toast until you have the success that you want out of life! You Got this!

 MEET PATRICIA

As an active Realtor®, and in sales for 45 years in Washington State, Patricia coaches women in sales to “Refuel” by turning their “I Can’t” into “I Can.” She interrupts the negative behaviors that have sabotaged them and helps them create a new path towards positive results. Albert Einstein once said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.”

Patricia’s own story of trauma, death, and a slew of bad decisions as a young adult, forced her to flip her own inner script, or face alternative consequences. By interrupting and healing the negative behaviors that sabotaged her, she was able to find the courage, and new found energy to move forward in all areas of her life. She did this with the action of five words.

These inspiring words created her Exclusive Diamond Method”, as Patricia believes we are all a diamond in the rough, just waiting to shine! So, begin the healing, and shine bright like a diamond.
